Hello, and welcome! I am a fledgling writer/poet, with a passion for creating visual art, and a professional musician. This page will serve as a place for me to express my creative side, and court the muses; primarily through my writing, but also through my photography (writing with light!), and music, and who knows what else. I’m also a voracious reader and love the written word in its many capacities, so I will be sharing books and poems that are meaningful to me as well. A huge thank you in advance, for taking the time to visit, and for your support on my new journey. I do not exaggerate when I say it means the world to me.
First and foremost, I am beyond thrilled to announce the release of conclusions delusions and musings on time, my first of what I hope to be many books. It is a collection of poems written over roughly the last two years. I have been a creative person for my entire adult life (predominantly in music), but I have never before put so much of myself into a project, or worked as hard. Being new to writing poetry, while providing me with a lot of good energy, also brings with it some trepidation. In writing this book, as is the case with any artistic endeavor, seeing it through to the end, and knowing when to let go, were both necessary components. If nothing else, I have accomplished that much. How it is received, or ultimately resonates with the reader, is not for me to determine. I will only say, the process was a heartfelt, arduous, singular experience in my life, and I’m excited to finally share my work.Â
If you do feel moved by the poems, and have a spare moment, I would humbly ask you to consider leaving a review on Amazon. I clearly didn’t choose poetry for financial reasons, or for accolades (it chose me actually), but reviews may generate more interest, and I’d love for the book to reach as many people as possible. It would be greatly appreciated.
Foreseeably, this space will be conducive to meeting and communicating with other writers, artists, and with lovers of art in all of its numerous forms. Please feel free, indeed encouraged, to reach out if you are so inclined. I have rightly been accused of being a bit of a Luddite, so bear with me in the process of figuring this whole thing out. Hopefully, you can stop in every now and then, and have a glance at what I’m up to. I look forward to it.
